One Month Old

I can't believe my little girl is one month old already. Time sure does go faster now that she is out compared to when I was pregnant with her. She is starting to get more rolly polly with some cute cheeks, double chin, and rolls on her thighs. She still smiles a lot while she is sleeping, but is starting to smile more when she is awake. She thinks she is really strong and lifts her head up all the time. I love being a mom and can't imagine life without her. I also love seeing Bryce with her, he is such a cute dad.

She's Here!!

Our sweet little Ellery arrived on Thursday Aug. 5th. She was 6 lbs. 15 oz and 20 in. long. She is beautiful and healthy. It has been quite the crazy week. Ellery has a high Biliruben count (Jaundice) and has had to have the light treatment all week. Therefore I have been tied down to my family room watching her in her little tanning bed to make sure her little eye mask stays in place. She is getting better and we are grateful she was able to stay home during treatment. I will post pictures and give more details about her arrival shortly. Being a mom is the best!

Getting Closer

We are getting closer and closer to being settled down into our new life in Utah. There have been a lot of address changes, dental errands, and baby errands this last month and I feel like we are getting to the end of our HUGE to-do list. We have loved being back in Utah and not having to miss the fun family functions of Sunday dinners, baby blessings, just hanging out, and birthdays. I only have five weeks til my due date and there are still some things I need to do to finish the nursery and have all that we will need. When the nursery is finished I will post a picture. I have still been feeling great and love being pregnant. Up until this week it has been a pretty cool summer which has been nice. So it hasn't been too bad being pregnant through the summer. I am sure that my opinion of that could change in this last month:) I am so excited to hold my little girl, kiss her, hear her cry, know that she is okay, and see what she looks like. I have been excited the whole time but now that the nursery is coming together and it is getting so close the reality of it all is making me so excited. Bryce is really excited too and is being really cute about it. This morning when we woke up he told me he had a dream about Ellery last night and then he couldn't sleep after cause he was so excited. P.S. We are going to name her Ellery. This is a picture of when I was 32 weeks. Now I am 35 weeks so I will post an updated picture when I take one.

It's a...

Girl!!! We found out that our baby is a little girl. Bryce and I loved the ultrasound. We had so much fun just sitting there watching her move all around and see that everything is developing just as it should. I am starting to feel her move a lot more lately and am loving being pregnant. I am so excited to meet our little angel and be her mom. We are so grateful for what a blessing it is to have a baby joining our family in August.

Baby News!!

Yes, it's really true. I am having a baby. This ultrasound was from my first doctors apt. It was so fun to see that there really is a baby in there and it has a good strong heart beat. I am now 13 weeks along and feeling pretty good. I am due at the beginning of August. We are so excited to be in this new phase of life and looking forward to when our baby comes. We feel so blessed to have so many exciting things to look forward to. This summer we have Bryce graduating, moving back to Utah, having a baby, and my little bro. returning from his mission. Life is great and we are so grateful for our many blessings.

The where's and What's of Us

We have had a great time the last two months. In November we were able to make a surprise trip home for Thanksgiving. Nobody knew we were coming except for my dad who helped us pull the surprise off. So we had a great week home for Thanksgiving and then three weeks later we were back in Utah for our two and a half week Christmas break. I have included a few pictures of each activity so I will tell you what each group of pictures are.

The first two pictures are from the Christmas party with Bryce's family. We have a big dinner, games, and then Santa comes and we get a present from him. It was so fun getting to spend time with all of the Warner side of the family. We also had a Christmas eve party with my family in the morning and with the Searle's that evening so we had our share of getting in the Christmas spirit and soaking in all the family time.

The next three pictures are while we were at the cabin after Christmas. The cabin is such a fun tradition for the day after Christmas. There was a lot of fresh powder, it was so beautiful. We had fun snomobiling, playing games, snowshoeing, shooting (with our new Christmas presents), and doing what we miss most while being in Philly, spending time with family.

The two pictures after that are of when we went pheasant hunting. Derek and Becca had Bryce and I for Christmas so part of our present was taking us hunting. It was a great day. We used Derek's pup as our hunting dog and had a successful hunt. It was Bryce's first time pheasant hunting and it was so fun for me to be doing something I enjoy with my family and having my husband there with me. I look forward to living in Utah and doing even more of those kinds of things with him.

The last group of five pictures are from our Thanksgiving trip. One bright and early morning we were able to go duck hunting with my brother Derek. He has a sweet set up with decoys, a boat, and a blind. It was a great adventure of freezing cold temps, breaking through ice, laughing a lot, and enjoying the beautiful view of timp. Utah is so beautiful. I mean look at that picture of timp with the lake in front of it. I was just soaking it in.

While we were there Bryce and I also celebrated our 2 year anniversary while we were home. It has been an amazing two years and it makes me so grateful for eternity. I love Bryce so much and I love being with him. He is my best friend. We had a great time in Utah and really enjoyed the Holidays.
