My little boy Husband

So Bryce's church calling is the 8-9 year old den leader. They had their pine wood derby and Bryce was so excited. He decided it was fitting for him to make his car look like a tooth. He did a really good job. So I went with him that night and saw how intense it was. This derby is serious business. They hired a professional derby guy who runs these for a living. They weigh the cars and when they make weight the owners can't touch them after. The derby guy has his track laser timed, posts the scores digitally, levels all his lanes, and has a really fair way so that every car raced against every car and in all the lanes. So incase you can't tell and see it was very serious stuff. So the cars were put on the track by adults that were trained. Then once the race is over the owners of the cars go to the end of the track and pick up there car. So the cars race and then three little 8-10 year olds run up and grab their car to take back to the waiting zone. So when Bryce's car raced two little boys and then my little boy husband would all go together to get their car. He was the only adult racing a car. It was funny and cute. Hopefully we have a son in the future that Bryce will be able to put that excitement into helping him with his derby car. My dental student husband had a fun little boy moment and his car looked great. His little scouts love him and so do I!

How fun! The derby here is way serious too with similar track etc. Ben actually got hired to do some kind of computer something for the boys (he's not in scouts). That's great that Bryce gets into his calling!
