Longwood Gardens

On Saturday Bryce and I went to Longwood Gardens with our friends Renn and Emily and their two boys. It was a beautiful spring day with lots of beautiful flowers and great company. It was started by a man who was saving the land from being cut down. It is now a public place that people can go to enjoy the wonderful gardens. They have different themes for each little place and some beautiful buildings and ponds. It was a lot of fun. Thanks for a great day Renn and Emily!!

Happy Birthday!

If I had a few thousand dollars to my name this is what I would get Miranda for her 23rd birthday. Since I don't, I did the dishes for her today! To everyone who doesn't know, doing the dishes is a big deal around here. The main reason is because we don't have a dishwasher. I Love you lots honey and I hope you have a great birthday.

Spring Break

Surprise, Surprise!! When I thought my mom was coming out to visit me for my spring break I got to the airport to pick her up and there was my sister with her. I had no idea she was coming. I was so excited. This added a whole new excitement to the trip. It ended up being a super fun spring break. The girls got here on Friday and that whole weekend until Tuesday we…went to Amish country, Hershey, PA, Washington D.C., and Downtown Philly. Bryce was a good sport to be stuck with us three girls all weekend. We don’t have very many pictures on our camera because we took most of them with Melissa’s camera so here are just a couple.

On Tuesday we three girls went to the airport together. Melissa flew back to her husband and three kids and me and my mom flew down to North Carolina. My mom and I spent the rest of my spring break down with the cute accents in the south. While we were down there we… hiked up chimney rock, drove through the Smokey Mountains, shopped, visited the Biltmore mansion, went horse back riding, segway riding and, went river rafting. So basically my mom and sister are the bomb and because of them my spring break was unforgettable. Good memories and lots of laughs. Love you girls.

My little boy Husband

So Bryce's church calling is the 8-9 year old den leader. They had their pine wood derby and Bryce was so excited. He decided it was fitting for him to make his car look like a tooth. He did a really good job. So I went with him that night and saw how intense it was. This derby is serious business. They hired a professional derby guy who runs these for a living. They weigh the cars and when they make weight the owners can't touch them after. The derby guy has his track laser timed, posts the scores digitally, levels all his lanes, and has a really fair way so that every car raced against every car and in all the lanes. So incase you can't tell and see it was very serious stuff. So the cars were put on the track by adults that were trained. Then once the race is over the owners of the cars go to the end of the track and pick up there car. So the cars race and then three little 8-10 year olds run up and grab their car to take back to the waiting zone. So when Bryce's car raced two little boys and then my little boy husband would all go together to get their car. He was the only adult racing a car. It was funny and cute. Hopefully we have a son in the future that Bryce will be able to put that excitement into helping him with his derby car. My dental student husband had a fun little boy moment and his car looked great. His little scouts love him and so do I!

Our trip to Utah at Christmas

Better late than never! Yes these are from way back at Christmas but they are so cute and we had so fun I didn't want to skip them. We had lots of fun playing in the snow, jumping off the deck at my cabin, and playing with our fun family. We miss them so much and have so much fun with them. The little kids love their big Brother Bryce and he loves to give them experiences. What a great Christmas it was.

Hair Cut

I have always been know as Miranda, the girl with the long hair, well my husband mentioned to me that he would like to see me with my hair short. I know some of you are thinking that is not really that short but for me cutting off 10 inches then made me have short hair. It's fun, I can still do everything with it, and it's way faster to dry.
